Abstract
Solution-processed multilayer devices such as solar cells, photodetectors, and light-emitting diodes have attracted attention due to their excellent optoelectronic performance. However, their reproducibility is often limited by repeated solution-processing steps involving many variables and human-dependent factors. To address this issue, we employ an automated coating robot (Spinbot) capable of precisely controlling key process parameters, thereby minimizing human-induced variability. By selectively controlling critical parameters with Spinbot, we enable a direct comparison between robot- and human-fabricated devices, clearly demonstrating the advantages of robotic precision control in improving device performance and reproducibility.
