Abstract
Organic photodetectors(OPDs) have attracted attention for various infrared optoelectronic applications due to their mechanical flexibility, application versatility, and low-cost fabrication. While high-performance near-infrared organic photodetectors have been widely reported, organic materials absorbing in the short-wave infrared (SWIR, ∼1500 nm) region remain limited. In this study, we synthesized two novel acceptors, TBzIC-I and TBzIC-P3F, which share a conjugated backbone but exhibit distinct optical and physical characteristics. TBzIC-I features an absorption edge at 1300 nm, and its excellent solubility enables uniform film formation. In contrast, TBzIC-P3F offers a broader absorption range with an edge at 1470 nm but suffers from lower solubility and less uniform film formation. To achieve both broadband absorption and high film uniformity, we fabricated ternary OPDs using a single donor and dual acceptors.
