Abstract
Perovskite optoelectronic devices have attracted considerable attention due to their exceptional performance, with perovskite solar cells achieving efficiencies above 27%. Nevertheless, further improvements are necessary to approach fundamental limits such as the Shockley–Queisser limit. A major bottleneck arises from nonradiative recombination, which mainly occurs at device interfaces. Therefore, interface engineering has become a key strategy for enhancing device performance. Since perovskite optoelectronic devices contain multiple interfaces responsible for charge separation, transport, and extraction, even minor modifications in interfacial properties can significantly affect overall efficiency. Accordingly, this work discusses interface design and engineering strategies aimed at realizing highly efficient and stable perovskite optoelectronic devices.
