Abstract
Cesium lead bromide (CsPbBr₃) perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) are attractive emissive materials due to their high photoluminescence efficiency, wavelength tunability, and narrow emission bandwidths. However, their use in optoelectronic devices is hindered by limited stability under ambient conditions. In this work, we present a photopolymerization-based approach to immobilize PQDs within a polymer matrix using thiol–yne click chemistry. Alkyne-functionalized ligands on the PQD surface enable covalent incorporation into a crosslinked polymer network upon UV irradiation. This polymer matrix effectively suppresses PQD aggregation, resulting in uniform film morphology and stable photoluminescence. The resulting QD–polymer composite films exhibit enhanced resistance to environmental stress, while enabling precise photopatterning. These results demonstrate thiol–yne photopolymerization as a strategy for stable and patternable perovskite quantum dot–polymer films.
