Abstract
Semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (s-SWNTs) offer broad applicability in nanoelectronics and optoelectronic devices owing to their outstanding electrical and optical properties. However, synthesized SWNTs contain a mixture of semiconducting and metallic species, which constrains their use in semiconductor- based electronic devices and makes it challenging to simultaneously achieve high recovery yield and high purity during CPE-based separation. A molecular cofactor is introduced into a conjugated polymer extraction (CPE) process to enhance the affinity between the conjugated polymer and s-SWNTs and to improve dispersion stability. Therefore, this work aims to propose CPE conditions that simultaneously improve recovery efficiency and dispersion quality for s-SWNT-enriched fractions.
