Abstract
This study demonstrates the realization of tunable plasmon resonance and distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) structures through controllable self-assembly of PS-b-P2VP block copolymers. Periodic nanostructures were formed in thin films by precisely controlling the self-assembly conditions of PS-b-P2VP, providing well-defined domain spacing and long-range order. Selective incorporation of plasmonic components into the P2VP domains enabled the formation of periodically modulated refractive index profiles suitable for DBR architectures. Optical measurements revealed that the plasmon resonance and reflection characteristics are strongly governed by the self-assembled morphology, periodicity, and structural orientation of the block copolymer templates. These results highlight PS-b-P2VP self-assembly as an effective bottom-up platform for integrating plasmonic functionality into DBR systems, offering new design strategies for photonic and nanoplasmonic devices.
