Abstract
With the development of wearable and stretchable electronics, there is demand for electrode materials combining flexibility with stable electrical performance. Preventing resistance increase under tensile deformation remains a key challenge. In this study, stretchable electrodes were fabricated by dispersing silver flakes in an SBS-based elastomer solution and introducing γ-butyrolactone as a secondary solvent to form a capillary suspension, controlling silver aggregation. The electrical properties were evaluated under tensile strain. By adjusting the secondary fluid content, we tuned silver aggregation and interparticle spacing, achieving control of conductivity enhancement. Moreover, a high-modulus elastomeric matrix led to new conductive pathways induced by pressure during stretching, resulting in stable performance without resistance increase. These findings demonstrate that secondary-fluid-assisted electrode design is effective for stretchable electronics
