Abstract
This study investigates a Semi-Interpenetrating Network (Semi-IPN) glycol gel incorporating synthesized Colorless Polyimide (CPI) to overcome the inherent rigidity and yellowing issues of conventional PI substrates. To achieve high optical clarity while maintaining mechanical robustness, CPI was synthesized using monomers such as 6FDA and TFMB and subsequently integrated into an acrylamide-based matrix.
The research focuses on suppressing the yellowness index (YI) and enhancing optical transmittance through the optimization of CPI precursor ratios and UV curing conditions. Furthermore, we propose a reliable platform that achieves a glass transition temperature (Tg) in the range of 150-200°C and improved stretchability through the synergistic effect of the Semi-IPN architecture. This CPI-based glycol gel is expected to provide an innovative solution for the development of next-generationtransparent and shape-deformable display technologies.
