Abstract
The process of organizing colloidal elements into well-ordered nanostructures holds considerable significance due to their potential applications in various technological fields. The nanoparticle assembly process relied on the self-assembly of nanoparticles with a nonionic surfactant, yielding binary (nanoparticle–surfactant) superlattices. The nanoparticles and surfactant were emulsified, followed by solvent removal via evaporation. The resulting nanoparticle size and morphology and surfactant–nanoparticle complexes were characterized by small-angle scattering, which is well suited for probing nanoscale ordering and interparticle correlations.
