Interfacial Alignment-mediated Synthesis of Natural Polyphenol

Abstract
We revealed that tannic acid was the most prominent antioxidative capability and external stimulus-resistance among natural phenolics. Through the nanosphere consisting of Pluronic F-127, tannic acid was aligned via hydrogen bonding and reacted with formaldehyde-substitution. We could create poly(tannic acid) nanospheres exhibiting strong intracellular antioxidant activity and effectively modulate the invasive behaviour of triple-negative breast cancer cells. For following up studies, we are extending the frame alignment of natural phenolic monomer, and synthethis of polyphenol on the diverse bulk substrate and assemblies.
