Abstract

Adaptive bioelectronics demand devices combining mechanical resilience with seamless functional adaptability. Here, we present fully stretchable organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) capable of reversible reconfiguration via gate electrolyte modulation. By tuning ionic strength, a single device reliably switches between logic gates (inverter, NAND, NOR) and synaptic mode (EPSC/IPSC). To ensure robustness, conducting polymer films are optimized via a dual-doping strategy using a polar solvent and nonionic surfactant, allowing the devices to sustain repeated deformation. Notably, synaptic operation is coupled with an electrochromic response, providing a direct visual readout of memory states via persistent color changes. Integrated into an adaptive platform, these OECTs process physiological signals for autonomous regulation. This work highlights ionically tunable OECTs as a versatile foundation for intelligent, closed-loop wearable therapeutics.
