Abstract
Synchrotron-based SAXS provides rapid, high-resolution nanoscale structural information without complex sample preparation and has therefore been widely used in materials science. however, increasing user demand makes it difficult to accommodate all experiments within limited beamtime. To address this challenge, automated and unmanned experimental systems are essential for improving beamline efficiency. In this work, we present a collaborative robot–based SAXS experimental platform designed to enhance experimental throughput and reproducibility. it includes a robotic sample-exchanger adaptable to diverse experimental environments and demonstrates significant improvements of time efficiency under real beamline conditions. In addition, we introduce the ongoing development of a VISION-based real-time monitoring system that enables stable, reliable, and fully automated SAXS measurements.
