Abstract
Cyanate ester resins are high-performance thermosetting polymers that exhibit excellent thermal stability, high glass transition temperatures, low dielectric constants and dielectric loss, making them key materials for advanced applications such as aerospace, electronic devices, semiconductor packaging, and composite matrices. In this study, a novel cyanate ester–based polymer was designed and synthesized, achieving enhanced thermal conductivity and reprocessability while maintaining thermal stability under high-temperature conditions. The thermal behavior was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarized optical microscopy (POM), and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), while molecular orientation and structural ordering were analyzed by SAXS and WAXS. Compared to conventional cyanate ester resins, it exhibited improved thermal conductivity and retained its thermal and mechanical properties even after repeated reprocessing cycles.
