Abstract
Stretchable electronic devices based on functional polymer materials are promising platforms for wearable healthcare applications due to their mechanical compliance and solution-processability. These characteristics enable conformal integration with soft biological tissues for reliable physiological signal monitoring. This presentation introduces polymer-based stretchable optoelectronic devices, focusing on organic photodetectors and light-emitting devices for wearable sensors. Key strategies including conjugated polymer design, elastomer blending, and structural optimization are discussed to achieve mechanical durability and stable device performance under tensile strain. In addition, system-level design approaches for reducing motion-induced artifacts are presented, demonstrating stable photoplethysmography signal detection during dynamic motion. These results highlight the potential of stretchable polymer electronics for next-generation healthcare sensors.
