Multiple Stimuli-Responsive Sensors based on Biocompatible Hydrogels

Abstract

Hydrogel-based sensors have garnered significant interest in fields such as electronic skin, health monitoring, and medical. It is well-known that hydrogel is flexible and has a similar mechanical property to human skin. In this presentation, we fabricated a double network hydrogel having excellent ion-conductivity, mechanical properties, and flexibility. Furthermore, our hydrogel shows excellent biocompatibility. According to the CCK-8 assays, all samples possessed negligible toxicity, and the cell viability exceeded 83.15% after 7 days in all cases. The multiple stimuli-responsive sensors based on the hydrogels are successfully demonstrated, which are capable of detecting subtle pressure and tactile stimuli simultaneously. These multi stimuli-responsive sensors have shown great potential in various fields such as flexible devices and biomedical applications.
