Nanocellulose (NC) hold significant potential as eco-friendly rubber reinforcements; however, their performance is often limited by self-aggregation and poor dispersion. This study addresses these challenges by implementing a silica-NC hybrid filler system to optimize dispersion and mechanical properties. The resulting hybrid composites demonstrated a robust complementary network within the rubber matrix, yielding superior tensile strength and abrasion resistance compared to single-filler counterparts. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) confirmed the uniform dispersion of the fillers. Additionally, rheological and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) assessments of the Payne effect and viscoelastic behaviors elucidated enhanced interfacial bonding between the filler and the matrix. In conclusion, this hybrid strategy offers a viable pathway for fabricating high-performance rubber composites, effectively balancing environmental sustainability with material engineering requirements.
