내용
In this study, microphase-separated copolymers were synthesized to investigate the detailed relationship between thermo-mechanical properties and microphase separation. Two random acrylate copolymers were prepared: (i) a hydrophilic copolymer composed of DMAEMA, FMA, and (ii) a hydrophobic copolymer composed of St, BMA, and FMA. These copolymers were crosslinked with bismaleimide via a Diels–Alder (DA) reaction to introduce a self-healing mechanism. The microphase-separated morphology was tuned by varying the mixing ratio of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic copolymers. The correlation between thermo-mechanical properties and self-healing ability was evaluated using a UTM with dog-bone-shaped specimens and DSC. Microphase separation was examined by AFM and TEM, and the rheological/viscoelastic behavior was characterized using a rheometer and DMA.
