Non-specific protein adsorption is a major factor that reduces the accuracy and reliability of biosensor measurements. Here, we present a simple polymer-based coating strategy as an alternative to complex hydrophilic or zwitterionic surface modifications. A fluorinated copolymer composed of TFEMA and BA provides low surface energy for antifouling while maintaining mechanical flexibility and strong substrate adhesion. The polymer was uniformly deposited on diverse substrates via a single-step spin-coating process, forming stable thin films. The coated surfaces effectively suppressed both protein adsorption and cell adhesion. Film thickness and antifouling performance were readily tuned by adjusting polymer concentration. The coating remained stable under physiological conditions, demonstrating its suitability for biomedical sensing interfaces. This work introduces a facile and reproducible polymer coating approach for anti-fouling biomedical surfaces and biosensor applications.
