In this work, ultrathin (~120 nm), self-powered photodetectors (PDs) using heavy-metal-free Cu-In-Se (CISe) quantum dots (QDs) for eco-friendly wearable health monitoring. By blending MoS2 nanosheets with PEDOT:PSS, we developed a hybrid hole transport layer that optimizes charge extraction and balances carrier mobility. At zero bias, the device exhibits a high specific detectivity of 2.10 × 1012 Jones and a 102 dB linear dynamic range. These PDs demonstrate excellent mechanical stability under repeated bending and were successfully integrated into skin-attachable PPG sensors for real-time heart rate monitoring. This work highlights the potential of hybrid polymer-inorganic designs for next-generation sustainable bioelectronics.
