Surface engineering of contact layers is critical for improving triboelectric nanogenerator performance, while conventional patterning methods suffer from environmental and scalability limitations. In this work, we present a viscoelasticity driven surface engineering strategy using sulfur rich polymers derived from elemental sulfur. Controlled peeling during hot pressing regulates surface formation through polymer relaxation behavior, enabling surface roughening without chemical modification. The engineered interfaces lead to enhanced triboelectric output and stable operation, demonstrating a sustainable route to high performance energy harvesting materials.
