Perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) have attracted considerable attention as next-generation display. In this study, we report a polymer-based interfacial engineering strategy employing a phosphomolybdic acid (PMA) interlayer inserted between two poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-co-(4,4'-(N-(4-sec-butylphenyl)diphenylamine))] (TFB) layers to enhance PeLEDs performance.

By forming a [TFB/PMA/TFB] configuration, we effectively introduce p-type doping into the polymeric hole transport layer, leading to enhanced hole transport properties. As a result, the PeLEDs exhibit significantly reduced turn-on and operating voltages, along with markedly improved operational stability. The PMA-induced modulation of polymer energy levels and interfacial charge transport was characterized using electrical and spectroscopic measurements.

Additionally, improved hole concentration was balanced using a [TPBi/PO-T2T] ETL, leading to further reduced turn-on voltage and enhanced power efficiency.
