Gelatin merhacryloyl (GelMA) is a promising bioink for 3D bioprintign due to its biocompatibility, biodegradability, and intrinsic RGD motifs that support cell adhesion. GelMA is synthesized by substituting amino groups in gelatin with methacryloyl groups, enabling UV-induced crosslinking and providing high structural stability during printing. In this study, we evaluated the printability, structural fidelity and biological performance of GelMA hydrogels. GelMA demonstrated strong shape retention, high cell viability (>90%), and enhanced vascularization potential, highlighing its applicability as a versatile biomaterial platform for regenerative medicine.
