Deformable alternating-current electroluminescent (ACEL) devices are promising for soft optoelectronics, yet high luminance under large deformation is limited by poor dispersion of high-dielectric fillers in soft emission layers. In this study, BaTiO₃ (BTO) nanoparticles are surface-modified with 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate (TMSPM) to improve filler–matrix compatibility in the emission layer. The organic interfacial layer enables uniform BTO dispersion and stable interfaces. Modified BTO increases the dielectric constant, concentrates the AC electric field on phosphors, and enhances excitation efficiency. At the same time, stress concentration during deformation is reduced, improving mechanical durability. Consequently, the devices show higher luminance and stable emission under severe deformation. This scalable strategy supports deformable lighting for wearable displays, soft illumination, and human–machine interfaces.
