Achieving high dielectric performance in polymer composites is essential for the development of advanced electronic devices. In this study, we present a strategy to enhance the dielectric constant of polymer–ceramic composites by combining a self-assembled BaTiO₃(BTO) network with polymer infiltration using PVDF-TrFE. BTO nanoparticles were self-assembled into a uniform network at the water–air interface and transferred on a substrate. PVDF-TrFE was then spin-coated over the BTO network to enable polymer infiltration into the ceramic structure.
The entire fabrication process proceeds under mild conditions, without the need for high-temperature or high-pressure treatments, offering advantages in processing simplicity and scalability. Moreover, the dielectric performance can be further improved by scaling the BTO network and incorporating additional layers, which intensify interfacial polarization and promote more efficient charge accumulation within the composite structure.
