The rapid growth of electronic and telecommunication technologies has intensified electromagnetic interference (EMI), increasing demand for flexible and environmentally compatible shielding materials. Mechanical damage during use can degrade EMI shielding performance, necessitating a self-healable polymer matrix to preserve conductive networks. Herein, a Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene/waterborne poly(urethane–urea) (WPUU) composite coating is developed to combine high EMI shielding efficiency with intrinsic self-healing capability. The WPUU matrix contains dynamic hindered urea bonds enabling thermally reversible bond exchange. Two-dimensional Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene enhances electrical conductivity and EMI attenuation and enables localized healing through photothermal conversion under near-infrared irradiation. This work provides an eco-friendly strategy for durable, self-healing EMI shielding coatings.
