An asymmetric triphenylamine (TPA)–based monomer was designed and synthesized for high-security information encryption. The introduction of a methyl group induced steric hindrance, enabling self-assembly into a lamello-columnar structure and allowing uniaxial alignment via a simple shear-coating process. The aligned thin films exhibited polarization-dependent photoluminescence (PL), electrofluorochromic (EFC), and redox-responsive electrochromic (EC) properties. Selective photopolymerization of the oriented films enabled a dual-mode encryption system, in which information is revealed only under specific applied voltages or light polarization conditions. Moreover, successful fabrication on indium tin oxide (ITO)–coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates demonstrates the potential of this system for flexible and wearable optoelectronic security applications.
