Soft-form neuromorphic electronics can enable wearable biointerfaces, e-skins, and on-device sensory intelligence beyond rigid platforms. Yet many stretchable devices still rely on structural engineering of non-stretchable materials, increasing fabrication complexity and limiting repeatability under deformation. Here, we present a functional-polymer strategy for fully soft neuromorphic systems built only from compliant materials: semiconducting polymer nanofiber/elastomer composites, metal-nanowire/elastomer networks, and porous polymer matrices hosting ionic liquids/ion-gels for robust ionic–electronic coupling. These platforms enable soft synaptic devices and arrays that maintain plasticity, dynamic range, and cycle-to-cycle stability even at large strain.
