내용
Interfacial structures play a crucial role in the performance and stability of organic electronic devices. In this presentation, we utilize deuterated polymers as both functional materials and analytical tools to study vertically phase-separated soluble acene/insulating polymer blends. By combining neutron and X-ray reflectivity/scattering, we gain detailed insights into interfacial sharpness, phase-separated structures, and the impact of underlying polymer chemistry on the molecular ordering of soluble acenes. Deuterated polymers not only allow for precise interface characterization but also enhance the thermal and electrical stability of organic thin-film transistors. This study highlights how materials design and advanced characterization together can reveal critical structure–property relationships and guide the development of next-generation organic electronic devices.
