Despite advances in biomaterials and organ-on-a-chip technologies, accurately replicating dynamic and tissue-specific biological environments remains challenging. This presentation introduces fiber-engineered platforms based on biopolymer composites that enable precise evaluation of tissue microenvironments and drug responses. We present a cartilage-specific platform using aligned biopolymer scaffolds to provide defined mechanical cues, identifying matrix conditions that enhance cartilage function. In addition, a dynamic fiber-based system is introduced to mimic the physiological mechanics of soft tissues. A personalized skin model constructed from patient-derived cells and decellularized extracellular matrices further demonstrates the capability of this approach to recapitulate individual healing and inflammatory responses. Together, these fiber-engineered platforms highlight a versatile strategy for next-generation tissue models and precision regenerative medicine.
