Abstract
In response to growing concerns over global warming, there has been an increasing demand for new eco-friendly and sustainable cooling technologies that can reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission associated with traditional active cooling technology. Passive daytime radiative cooling (PDRC) has emerged as a promising zero-energy cooling strategy that works by reflecting solar light (0.3-2.5 µm) and emitting infrared radiation to outer space through the atmospheric window (8-13 µm). In this presentation, I will suggest molecular design stratergy for polymer based PDRC materials. After then, I will show the highly solar reflective PDRC paint based on dual-scatter perfluoropolymer nanocomposite.
