Abstract

As photonic technologies advance toward multi-dimensional information processing, chiral optics offers new capabilities for displays, sensing, encryption, and neuromorphic devices. This work develops chiral plasmonic hybrid materials via co-assembly of star-like block copolymers, chiral additives, and gold nanoparticles. During solvent annealing, supramolecular chiral organization induces strong circular dichroism in the LSPR region. Solvent vapor pressure controls morphology and optical response: low-pressure DMF yields thermodynamically stable fibers, while high-pressure toluene forms kinetically trapped rods. Rod-like assemblies show g-factors up to 0.2—the highest for polymer-templated chiral plasmonic gold nanostructures—demonstrating the role of polymer architecture and processing in tuning chiroptical properties.
