Abstract
This talk presents two studies utilizing conjugated polymers for organic and nanotube-based electronics. First, we achieved high-purity semiconducting SWNTs via selective dispersion using polyfluorene derivatives. Optimized processing enabled high-performance transistors with mobilities up to 43.6 cm²/V·s and ON/OFF ratios over 10⁴.
Second, we investigated dark current suppression in organic photodetectors using fluorinated polymers. Analysis of energetic disorder and Urbach energy revealed that improved molecular ordering reduced trap-assisted recombination, enabling low dark current while maintaining high quantum efficiency.
These results demonstrate how conjugated polymers can be applied both in nanomaterial sorting and in improving device performance.
