Abstract
Reconfigurable soft electronic devices capable of altering functionalities under mechanical deformation are critical for adaptive bioelectronics. We present a scalable, ionically reconfigurable platform based on intrinsically stretchable organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) that operate as digital logic or analog synaptic devices within a unified architecture. Reversible switching is achieved by tuning the ionic environment of the gate electrolyte. Using a dual-doping strategy with a polar solvent and nonionic surfactant, the conducting polymer films show enhanced mechanical compliance and stable electrical performance, even after repeated deformation. We demonstrate reconfiguration between logic gates (inverter, NAND, NOR) and synaptic transistors with robust long-term memory. Integrated into an adaptive bioelectronic system, our devices interpret physiological signals, highlighting their potential in autonomous health monitoring and compression-regulating wearable platforms.
