Abstract

This presentation explores the integration of conductive polymers into quantum dot (QD) and metal-halide perovskite solar cells to address challenges in charge extraction, interfacial defects, and device instability. Conjugated polymers are introduced as effective hole transport materials (HTMs) and interfacial modifiers, offering advantages such as tunable energy level alignment, dopant chelation, and morphological compatibility. These features help suppress interfacial recombination and enhance charge selectivity. To illustrate these concepts, I will present examples of ambipolar conductive polymer-integrated perovskite solar cells and dopant-chelating conductive polymer-integrated QD solar cells, both of which demonstrate improved device performance and stability.
