Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) has been extensively utilized as an anti-corrosion coating material owing to its outstanding chemical resistance, mechanical strength, hydrophobicity, and excellent processability. To further improve these properties, copolymerization with tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) has been explored. In this study, poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-tetrafluoroethylene) [P(VDF-co-TFE)] copolymers were synthesized with varying TFE feed ratios. The resulting copolymers were systematically characterized in terms of their chemical structure and mechanical properties. Furthermore, their wear resistance and chemical durability were evaluated to assess their suitability for anti-corrosion coating applications.
