내용
Chiral perovskites are promising materials for circularly polarized light (CPL) photodetectors due to their low trap densities, long carrier diffusion lengths and diverse crystal structures. Generally, chiral organic ligands are used to induce the chirality in perovskites. However, Various studies on chiral perovskites have been reported using the simple phenyl-based organic ligands such as methylbenzylamine and their derivatives. In this study, We introduce biphenyl-based chiral ligands, (R/S)-BPEAs, which enable the successful synthesis of chiral perovskites with larger-sized ligands. These new materials exhibit enhanced circular dichroism and imporoved CPL detection performance, expanding the possibilities for CPL photodetectors.
