The practical application of graphene aerogels in pressure sensors has been limited by their inherent brittleness, despite their low density, high porosity, and excellent electrical properties. To address this issue and improve mechanical performance, we prepared a three-dimensional porous aerogel by reducing graphene oxide (GO) with L-ascorbic acid (L-AA) as a green reducing agent and incorporating polydopamine (PDA) during synthesis. In this study, introducing polydopamine effectively suppressed volume shrinkage during aerogel formation, thereby enhancing the mechanical properties of the resulting aerogel. The structural, mechanical, and electrical properties of the reduced graphene oxide–polydopamine aerogel were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), a universal testing machine (UTM), and a multimeter. The sensor performance was evaluated, confirming its potential as a flexible and sensitive material for pressure sensing applications
