Achieving high dielectric performance in polymer composites is essential for advanced energy storage and electronic devices. We propose a strategy to enhance the dielectric constant of polymer–ceramic composites by combining a self-assembled BaTiO₃ (BTO) nanoparticle network with polymer infiltration using poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) (PVDF-TrFE). BTO nanoparticles were self-assembled into a uniform network at the water–air interface and transferred onto a substrate. PVDF-TrFE was then spin-coated to enable polymer infiltration into the ceramic layer.
This mild and scalable process avoids high-temperature or high-pressure treatments, offering simplicity and broad applicability. It is also compatible with various polymer matrices, enabling composite design tailored to electrical or mechanical needs. This strategy offers a promising route to fabricate high-performance dielectric materials for diverse applications.
