Once the photoactive layer material for organic optoelectronic devices has been determined, controlling the optimal morphology is a crucial means of improving performance, and the most common method is to adjust the solvent and additives. Additionally, although organic optoelectronic devices have many advantages over inorganic devices, their stability has not yet been fully verified in most cases. One of the reasons for the low stability of organic optoelectronic devices is the inability to maintain the morphology of the photoactive layer itself, and another is the stability of each layer and between layers of organic optoelectronic devices composed of multiple layers. In this presentation, research results conducted recently by the Korean Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) to optimize the morphology of the photoactive layer of organic optoelectronic devices and to improve the stability of the devices will be presented.
