We present an integrated molecular design strategy that harnesses light-induced excited-state dynamics of organic semiconductors to advance multifunctional optoelectronic devices. First, a color-cognitive memristor is developed by employing photoresponsive molecular layers exhibiting light-enhanced polarity. This enables wavelength-dependent conductance modulation, mimicking human visual perception and enabling multispectral memory for neuromorphic vision. Second, we demonstrate that excited-state properties synergize with proton transfer to improve hole mobility in heterocyclic ring-based organic semiconductors. When implemented in a NiOx-based hybrid hole-transport layer for perovskite solar cells, the result is enhanced charge extraction and improved device efficiency. These results underscore the potential of light-driven molecular engineering in unifying sensory, memory, and energy-harvesting functions within organic electronic platforms.
