내용
Microneedle-based hydrogels offer notable advantages due to their biocompatibility, ability to maintain a moist environment, and capacity for sustained drug release. Compared to needle-based drug injections, they minimize pain and scarring, making them a focal point for researchers in the areas of transdermal drug delivery system(TDS) and diagnostics. Particularly, these hydrogels have demonstrated impressive results in addressing chronic wounds.
This study aims to provide an overview of the latest advancements in technology and materials associated with hydrogel microneedle for wound healing. The discussion encompasses the process, the current state of hydrogel microneedle patches, TDS, and methods for analyzing physical properties. The study concludes by highlighting potential directions for future research and identifying key challenges in the development of hydrogel microneedle technologies.
