Polyimide (PI) is a polymer with thermal stability based on a rigid aromatic main chain, and is in the spotlight as a highly functional polymer material, and is used in a wide range of industrial fields. However, polyimide (PI) has a limitation that the thermal expansion coefficient (40-80 x 10-6/K) is very high. Based on this need, when a polyimide film is produced using a monomer containing an amide group, thermal characteristics such as Tg and CTE are improved by hydrogen bonds between chains in this study, and an experiment was carried out with the expectation of polyimide with excellent thermal and mechanical properties. The thermomechanical properties, and optical transparency of manufactured PI films were examined using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), thermomechanical Analysis (DMA), universal tensile machine (UTM) and UV-vis spectrometer.
