Machine Learning-Assisted Biomimetic Colloid Platform for Biomedical and Environmental Applications

Smartphones are being actively used as sensors as portability and camera resolution have recently increased. Here, paper microfluidic chips and machine learning technology enable inexpensive and accurate detection of targets such as environmentally hazardous substances and the COVID-19 virus.In this talk, peptides were covalently bonded to colloidal particles and the interaction force between the particles and target materials was learned. I would like to discuss research that learns the interaction between particles and target substances through machine learning to detect target substances. A colloidal platform based on machine learning could open new ways to analyze samples for environmental and biomedical applications.
