Water-soluble polymers with a network structure formed by three-dimensional cross-linking can be applied not only to tissue engineering and drug delivery systems but also to environmental engineering fields due to their ability to absorb and release water and excellent biocompatibility. In this study, a polymer in which a cationic polymer and an anionic polymer having opposite charges form a three-dimensional cross-link through physical bonding can be easily made. Also, since it was formed through physical bonding, it is possible to make it into a solution state again. In order to know the characteristics of this polymer, the range of producible ion ratio and swelling degree were measured.
