As interest in flexible polymer substrate materials has greatly increased, they are being developed into rollable or foldable electronic devices that can be bent freely. By using a flexible polymer substrate material, we can has various advantages such as unbreakable, free design, breaking away from spatial limitations, realizing a super-large display, and creating a new market with a wide range of applications.
Recently, as research to apply TPU to flexible polymer substrates using excellent flexibility and transparency is progressing. However, due to the characteristic of thermoplasticity, it shows a problem that deformation occurs easily at high temperature.
In this study, in order to improve the CTE characteristics of TPU, fillers with different specific surface areas or particle shape were added to TPU by content, and various properties were compared.
