Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been studied for flexible and lightweight electronics due to their great electrical and mechanical properties. These development have recently been extended to thermoelectric fields, which have potential for flexible energy harvesting devices at near room temperature. However, most CNT-based thermoelectric generators are produced through a solution process, which limits thermoelectric devices to in-plane structures. In this study, we developed a bulky CNT foam through a rapid solvent evaporation method. During the rapid solvent evaporation process, the solvent between the CNTs mesh rapidly evaporates and bulky and porous CNT was formed without shrinkage. In addition, we introduced BiSbTe in the CNT foam to enhance the thermoelectric and mechanical properties. The BiSbTe nano particles boosted the power factor from 3.34 to 12.26μW/m1K2. In addition, BiSbTe microparticles embedded between the CNT meshes made them mechanically robust.
