There is no doubt that the Lithium Ion Batteries(LIBs) is the most robust candidate of energy supplying source for the electronic device. Much research has been reported about the improvement of cell performance by reforming the components consisting of batteries including electrodes, electrolytes, and membranes. Among them, there are a lot of efforts to enhance the properties of the separatory membrane.
In this article, we suggested very simple and promising strategy to give stability on poly(propylene) membranes used in LIBs. Parylene is a linear chain polymer that could be polymerized by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) having great chemical and physical properties. As well known fact that the parylene film is possible to conformal coating, we modified its surface properties by using various parylene polymer.
