Flexible metal halide perovskites polymer composites applied in X-ray imaging scintillation

X-ray imaging is daily used in medical diagnostic. The commercial X-ray detectors are commonly used semiconductors, requiring complicated fabrication while still being partially rigid, thus limit some applications. Perovskites are considered the new materials for the scintillation in X-ray imaging because of the ability to convert X-ray to UV-Vis signal. On the other hand, polyacrylates compounds are also able to be applied as plastic scintillators due to their high transparent, strong physical strength and somehow flexible. In this research, we fabricated composites from inorganic perovskites CsPbBr3 and poly (butyl methacrylate) for X-ray imaging scintillators application.
