Recently, the flexible and conductive hydrogel has been employed as a wearable electronics and strain sensor for human motion detection owing to their biocompatibility, excellent sensitivity, repeatability, high stretchability, and working stability. Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) is a 2-dimensional sheet consisting of carbon atoms with excellent mechanical and conductive properties. However, chemically reduced rGO shows poor water solubility due to the elimination of carboxyl, hydroxy, and epoxy groups. In this study, partially reduced rGO (PrGO), natural polyphenol, and novel metal-based flexible and wearable strain sensors with excellent mechanical strength and conductivity were fabricated. We also investigated, the ability to convert mechanical responses into electrical signals for human motion detection.
