Research efforts to enhance the crystallization of organic semiconductors have been ongoing to promote efficient charge transfer phenomena. In this study, research was conducted to amplify crystallization through post-treatment by utilizing a solution-printing process, where organic semiconductors were selectively protected using a PVA protective layer. On the wafer, Tips-pentacene/PS or Ph-BTBT-10/PS was uniformly coated, followed by an additional PVA coating using a custom silk screen. The regions coated with PVA were preserved, allowing for protection of desired crystal areas while controlling crystal growth through subsequent treatments and PVA removal to fabricate devices. By employing PVA as a protective layer, uniform crystal thickness was achieved, enabling enhancement of crystal formation through post-treatment steps such as thermal treatment and pressure. Moreover, obtaining an ordered organic semiconductor array improved patternability and crystalline quality.
